HISTORY

In 1947
i.e. 50 years ago, the first Huth companies were founded, later growing into largesized companies in the sealing and coating area with about 500 employees.

In 1963
Malte Huth tried the first substances containig PTFE in mountain an roundcourse races and twice became Vice European Mountain Champion in a Porsche in 1967 and 1968. The highlight was the victory in the 1,000 kilometre race on the Nürburgring in 1968. First hard long-distance tests for HIT-FLON ®.

In 1969
M. Huth graduated as an engineer with a dissertation of almost 120 pages in lengthon the subject of polytetrafluoroethylene development, processing and application. Since this time, the theoretical knowledge has been increased by solutions to problems changing every day in the field of PTFE (Teflon®) to such an extent that.

In 1977
the firm of HUTH INDUSTRIE TECHNIK was founded. A number of renowned customers secured the innumerable products from 5 product groups until the requirement for HIT-FLON®, as tried and tested in automobile sport, came up.

In 1981
the old secret recipe was brought up to the state of art in cooperation with a tribology laboratory, and HIT-FLON® 2000 was born.

In 1982
HIT-FLON® 2000 was certified as the first and, up to now, only product worldwide with a PTFE coating, causing a tremendous boom.

In 1986
the inventor, Graduated Engineer M. Huth, applied to the German Patent Office for a patent for the process of producing a PTFE dispersion as a lubricant, the patent being granted in the record time of 16 month.

In 1987
the first test engine running without oil was developed, thanks to HIT-FLON® 2000 .

In 1988
the Government of Upper Bavaria confirmed the patent as economically valuable.

In 1989
experts from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce certified the values of the patents which had been applied for and later issued on the most important motor vehicle markets in the world as being about DM 25 million.

In 1991
the former recipe was bought by the now very renowned laboratory at which world companies have formulations and products developed, in order to be completely free. Only 3 members of the family know the secrets recipes and procedures.

In 1995
the DIN ISO 9000 et seq. quality assurance system was introduced in the entire company and order production secured by confidentiality contracts. Filling from the concentrate LIQUI-FLON to the final product, HIT-FLON® 2000, which is a trade mark in more than 25 countries, is carried out by another Huth company. Their reference list of 1,200 customers goes from AEG to Zeiss.
